Loyalty Programme Terms

Purpose
These terms govern your participation in the loyalty programme offered by [BUSINESS LEGAL NAME] (the business), through a digital loyalty card you add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The programme runs on the Mon Carnet Client software, which is merely a technical provider. By signing up and using your card, you accept these terms.
Participation and sign-up
Participation is free and open to anyone who accepts these terms. To create your card, you provide your first name, last name, date of birth and preferred language. No email address or phone number is required. You can then add your loyalty card to your wallet.
Using the card and QR code
Your digital loyalty card carries an identifier or a QR code that you present in store when you make purchases so your visits can be recorded. The card is personal to you. You are responsible for safeguarding your device; in the event of loss or obvious fraud, the business may suspend or reissue the card.
Earning stamps and points
On each eligible visit or purchase, and according to the rules set by the business, your card is credited with stamps, points or visits. The business freely sets the scale, the reward thresholds and any conditions (minimum amount, eligible products). The balance shown on your card prevails, subject to manifest error.
Rewards
When you reach a threshold, the corresponding reward is granted to you according to the terms set by the business. The rewards you have earned never expire: neither stamps, nor points, nor unlocked rewards are subject to a use-by date. Rewards are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash, unless the business decides otherwise.
Communications
You may receive emails strictly necessary for the service (invitation to add your card, email verification, review requests, administrative messages). If, and only if, you have consented, the business may send you marketing communications, exclusively as push notifications on your wallet card; no marketing communication will be sent to you by email or SMS. You can withdraw this consent at any time via the unsubscribe link on your card, the dedicated page, or the welcome email.
Changing or ending the programme
The business may change the programme rules (scale, rewards) or end the programme at any time, informing you by an appropriate means. If the programme ends, the business will set out how already-earned rewards may be used; in line with the principle above, they do not expire merely because the programme ends.
Termination and unsubscribing
You can leave the programme at any time. You can remove your card from your wallet, unsubscribe from marketing communications, and request the erasure of your data. This erasure is carried out through anonymisation: your identifying data (name, email, phone) is deleted and your account is frozen, while a non-identifying history may be kept for the business's statistics. You can trigger it yourself from the erasure page linked to your card, or request it from the business.
